About us
Sweden Water Research is the joint research, development, and innovation company of NSVA, Sydvatten, and VA SYD. Together with their owners, they tackle future challenges with a focus on water quality, digital transformation, and the circular economy.
They conduct nationally applied research and development with the benefits to their owners in focus. The work of Sweden Water Research is cross-disciplinary, and many employees from the owning companies are involved in projects together with colleagues at Sweden Water Research. In these projects, they also collaborate with other water organizations, companies, research institutes, and universities. This collaboration increases the possibilities to solve future challenges by jointly addressing larger and more complex problems than what the owning companies could do individually. It also provides the opportunity to apply for and receive external research funding.
